20-eleven
2010 flew by
really fast. and it's not because it was particularly fun/exciting, mind you (it's my first year in NS, after all!). i guess looking forward to bookout every weekend made me live only for the weekends, and hence, when 40 weekends are up, well, that's already the end of a year. oh well!
that said, 2010 has been an interesting year, filled with rollercoaster experiences thanks to the army. made many new friends - especially section/platoon/wing/coy-mates from BMT Dragon Coy, SCS Delta Coy, and OCS Delta Wing - which is always great and one of the things i'm thankful to the army for. and i had many cool experiences which only the army could provide, so it's not really that bad la. (:
i guess the only thing i wish i could change was the amount of interaction i had with my loved ones - family and friends. granted, i think i did the best i could with the amount of civilian life that's been given to me, but y'know, it sucks when you realise that you're home for less than 1/5 of the year. ): that's a tad tmth.
alright, as we flip to a new calendar and look forward to a new chapter (and an impending ORD!!), here's wishing y'all all the best yeah.
have an awesometastic 2011 ahead, and may it be filled with sugar, spice and everything nice! (:
