HAHA. okay. nvm. so yeah. wat a day it was to end off the festive hols. -.-
yup. so started off with meeting at syafiq's house in tanah merah. from noon till abt five.
hahahah. wat a long walk from the mrt station to get to his house seh. but still, nth compared to gtc hikes.
anyhows. his house is beeeg and prettaye lar. terrace, i tink. oh. and there was a sword thing tt his bro, a 2nd Lt (whoa), received in dec last year, proudly mounted on the wall. cool. (: lunch was diy popiah, which was quite an eye-opener. but i got mine made by his mum tho. heh. and tt was when the broken glass incident happened. =P hahahah
anw. so it was quite a fruitful discussion lar. not really tt successful in my opinion. nonetheless, it did get things going. (:
after tt, it was a rush home to send my bro off to tekong again. xP and since he was gonna be late, mum+dad+him cabbed, and me and my sis took the bus. so we ranranran from the bus stop outside pasirris interchange to assembly point, and managed to get to him before he left.
oh. and my sis is interested in one of my bro's platoonmates, whom she claimed kept looking in her direction. HAHA. like anyone would ever do tt. xP heh
then went home as usual, not before stopping by the library to borrow some books, and to finally settle my fines. (: yay. i feel like sucha good boy. hahahah.
okay. so tt was basically my adventure today. and now, i still gotta do some final revision for the maths test/quiz tmr. =/
yes. the festive hols are over. sch's tmr. sigh.

whoa. i realised tt i've yet to go to the movies this year. sad, ain't it. hahahah. was supposed to go with the peeps to watch in her shoes last friday. but then, i had a change of mind. ohwell.
anyhows, since i've a craving (haha) for movies rite now, lemme list out the top two on my wanna watch titles. they are... (drumroll pls)
In Her Shoes
Maggie Feller (Cameron Diaz) is a stunning male magnet whose reading disorder has made it impossible for her to hold down even a minimum wage job for longer than 3 months.
Maggie's older sister, Rose (Toni Collette), is a Princeton educated attorney at a top Philadelphia law firm whose non-stop work schedule and constant weight struggle has left her dating life virtually non-existent.
After a calamitous falling out, the two sisters travel a bumpy road toward true appreciation for one another - aided along the way by the discovery of the maternal grandmother (Shirley Maclaine) they thought was dead. It is through their re-connection with their grandmother that Maggie and Rose learn how to make peace with themselves and each other.
and...
le Grand Voyage
A few weeks before his college entrance exams, Reda, a young man who lives in the south of France, finds himself forced to drive his father to Mecca. From the start, the journey is difficult. Reda and his father have nothing in common. Conversation is reduced to the strict minimum. Reda wants to experience the trip in his own way but his father demands respect for himself and expects his son to understand the meaning of his pilgrimage. As they drive through different countries and meet various people, Reda and his father observe each other warily. How can they create a relationship when communication is impossible? From the south of France, through Italy, Serbia, Turkey, Syria, Jordan to Saudi Arabia, their journey is 3,000 miles long.
so there. hahahah. okay perhaps i did more than just list. xP
anw, any takers? hahahah. but i doubt i'll have the time to watch them once sch starts again. with pi looming in the corner. =/ gah. wat a bummer. nvm. i shall find time.

okay. so i've had my breakfast, which was a simple meal of murtabak. and jering rebus, some traditional kueh. hmmm. yeah. you so needed to know tt.
anyhows. if you're tinking tt the title of this entry has sth to do with the drama in my life, then you're sadly mistaken. hahahah. well, it's the tagline (tt's wat you call it, right?) of the extremely gifted director, Yasmin Ahmad's latest film, Gubra, the sorta sequel to Sepet (which was just so amazing). and the best thing? it's premiering in our sunny lil island first next month. wheee. am so looking forward to it. (: meanwhile, trailer's up on lighthouse pictures website here.
oh. and for the record, Sepet clinched the Best Asian Film Award at 18th Tokyo International Film Festival, sidelining Eric Khoo's Be With Me (which received the Special Mention).
now, how good is tt?

hello! i just cooked scrambled eggs using the microwave oven! yay. wasn't tt bad. but i actually prefer the ones cooked using the old frying pan. well, parents are out at geylang serai wet market, and so i'm left with no breakfast yet. hahahah. so i decided to try using the oven.
oh. and i'm watching chasing liberty starring mandymoore on hbo rite now. wat a great way to spend the day. eat, watch tv, .... sounds like a really wonderful plan to me. xP heh.
how i wish it'd be tt way every single day. wishful thinking, i know. but hey. my secondsis' life is like tt at the moment. how i envy her. well, i guess the best i can do rite now is to enjoy wat's left of the festive hols. so yeah.

hahahah. hello. just got home after having dinner out at the famous beach road sup tulang hawker area. well, i had mutton soup, with of course, my all-time fave, the yummylicious avocado shake. quite worth it at $3 only yeah. yummm. xP okay. why did i actually write all tt? nvm. just fyi. (:
hahahah. so yeah. it was just simply an evening out to beach road. was supposed to include some shopping as well (for my bro's army stuff if you were wondering) but the whole 3rd storey was closed. so no go. was rather boring lar, but nonetheless, yummy. =P
oh. and speaking of my bro, he just booked out on fri and will be back in tekong on tues. for the festive hols. and well, he was supposed to or at least, he wanted to treat the whole family to swensen's with his first ns pay. BUT the banks are closed, and he has yet to make an atm card. so again. no go. sadly. booo lar. =/
hmmm. tt's all i guess? and yes, i know. -.- wat a boring entry.
anyhows, hope you're all having fun. (:

hello. yes. sorry once again for the lack of updates. been rather busy with schoolwork and stuffs. so yeah. thankgod for the festive hols. (: time to really rest and catch up on schoolwork.
anw. sch's been okay larh. but hectic. xP and as mentioned, the teachers are nice too. eg, missclarisefong, eng/lit relief. 3j/k lit students can so testify for tt. xP heh. btw, thanks for putting in a good word, missfong. (: which btw, is true. we're such nice ppl kay. hahahah. anw. yeah. she's nice.
hmmm. nth much to say, actually. oh ya. i went out this morning to witness my cousin's marriage solemnisation (or whatever it's called) at romm. was quite an experience, not having gone to romm/rom before.
oh. and y'know, i feel quite old. okay. perhaps more like aged. like how i've grown up so fast, and likewise, the ppl around me. how i'm no longer tt 6-year-old boy wanting his power rangers figurines and toy weapons, and what have you. how, i'm no longer, a child. sigh. moments like this fills me with such nostalgia tt make me want to stop time and remain young forever. and not grow up. how time flies. indeed.
nitex. and before i forget, happy chinese new year ppl. (:

anw. yest was the first day of academics, when proper lessons began. can't really call it the first day of sch rite, since sch started like last week. and it's already week2. okay. whatever.
i gues i'm fortunate to have really good teachers like mrsalbar (the highness, who is feared by practically everyone in class), mrmarkwee, drjerrreylee, and misscho (yet again). hahahah. they seem like good teachers. at least right now. xP haven't met the other teachers for lesson yet.
okay. am really lazy (and tired) to type on.
and yeah. my bro returned for the festive hol yest nite and has gone back to camp this evening. according to him, training is really tough. =X but i guess he'll definitely be able to cope. but then again, he doesn't have a choice, does he?
hahahah. kay. nitex. oh. and selamat hari raya aidiladha to all muslims. (:
