hey. just completed wrapping my maths portfolio. wheee.
and so, my grandma has moved to my aunt's. and i shall get my bed back. =) so happy. but then again, kesian my grandma. move here, move there. blame it on... ah, forget it lar. nvm.
hmmm. yesterday was funnn. scouts from 7am to 10am. did the maori dance aka haka for the opening ceremony of our 01 carnival and then, ciaoz to dikir. did ragam and stuff. oh ya. it's our traditional ragam. cool.
then came tarian. the trainer is cikgu osman. (correct rite?)
he's so funny and funnn. did some introduction. then came the exercises and some basic tarian steps. he told us abt his life and stuff. he's an interesting guy. =)
oh ya. and he even lifted me legs first coz i failed to get some turns right. hahax. tt was a cool experience. btw, he also trains the nus tarian-ers.
okie. now, to a much more important thing - my list of assignments.
maths - portfolio (due this mon, 30 aug)
geog - desert survival kit (due this tues, 31 aug) *deadline extended*
hmt - karangan (due this thurs, 2 sept)
history - famous explorer (due term 4, week 1)
bio sci - 4 tasks (due term 4, 17 sept)
comp studies - webpage (due term 4) *added assg*
hmmm. not tt bad i guess. oh ya. and my patrol log. oh great. owell. shall do tt and karangan this wednesday.
mp3 player. yeah. shall be buying it tmr if everything goes well. but i dun think tt it will go tt well since i dun have tt much cash. see first lar.

hey. the clouds are a bit dark and looking at them makes me so depressed. sighs.
oh. life's so stressful now. assignments, tests, assignments, tests, and as wat haris says, tt's like the story of my life. bahhh. and all my cca commitments. sighs.
how i wish i can just skip this chapter of my life and move on to my adult life. this chapter full of stress and stuff. but bahhh, tt so won't come true. i see adults working here and there, and i wonder, "why wasn't i born during their time? then i will be working now and will no longer be in sch." sighs.

hey.
as some of you may already noe, yesterday was the special academic awards presentation ceremony, in which i received the prime minister's book prize. so tt was the event i was counting down to. so now you noe.
i realised tt blazers and shorts sooo dun go together. bleargh. and some seniors just had to comment. so pissifying. aniwae, thanx samuel lim for offering me his medium-sized blazer in exchange for my xl one, which was obivously big. so nice of him. thanx. =)
the ceremony was okay lar. came there in a cab, rehearsal and briefing, then the actual ceremony. and my mum and dad just had to come late, as always, and enter the auditorium when the ppl were waiting for the guest-of-honour. alerrr. btw, the g.o.h. was mr chan soo sen, minister of state, ministry of education.
oh ya. finally got to meet my bro's friends, fairuz and monish. hahax. they were sitting in front of me and some time during the waiting time, they stared at my badge, discussed sth, and then asked me, "are you iskhandar's brother?". i knew tt was coming. so i replied a yes and said hi. see, im friendly. =)
after the ceremony was the group photoshoot and then interview with a berita harian journalist. she lagi funny. we were speaking in english, and towards the end, she asked me, "would you be comfortable if i spoke to you in malay?". so i replied yes again. then, she said sth like, "nevermind. i prefer to speak in english". hahax. a malay journalist who prefers to speak english? so bilingual. hehe.
oh ya. didn't realise tt mrs tan siok mui was there until the time when the guests were leaving. my pri sch principal, mrs ang was also there, together with my p6 teachers, mrs goh and mdm zeinah. then took a photo together. wheee.
i guess tt was all. oh ya, and the award comprised of 3 english books - biography of elizabeth choy, autobiography of wee kim wee and eva ibbotson's journey to the river sa - and 4 malay books - badai semalam (khadijah hashim), merintis ke jalan asal (w.s.uzala), jangan kau menangis (nor azah abdul aziz) and misteri remaja jild 5 (othman puteh). books. arghhh. a book prize wat.
apart from tt, i also rceived a certificate and a cheque worth $197.84. alerr. round off jer lar eh. hahax. aniwae, i should feel content rite. alhamdulillah.
oh ya. i wanna kill the bh photographer! arghhh. nvm.
okie. back to the harsh reality. a few ppl from my class were grilled by miss sim just now for asking geog test qns. the test tt we did last fri.
btw, my whole class noes some of the qns lerr, coz ppl are so helpful. so before you ask me whether i noe any of the qns, i admit tt i do. but well, i didn't ask or beg anyone for the qns, just tt some of my friends are so kind and helpful. so, actualli, im guilty too. tt's wat i hate abt not being the first class to do tests/quizzes. there's always this cheating going around. bahhh.
and ppl in my class, dun beg for qns anymore lerrr (you noe who you are), coz you'll get the whole class in trouble. and i dun want my class to have a bad reputation. but guess we already have. bahhh.
so ppl, remember, DON'T CHEAT!

hey. was bloghopping yesterday and found out tt many ppl have very interesting posts. among them is definitely my bro's friend, faliq. to quote his entry on li jia wei's defeat,
"That was a fair attempt by Li Jia Wei. She did us proud, really. Who cares about all these medals anyway (though if I were her, I would be pretty heartbroken.. several hundred grands worth of prize money down the drain). At the end of the day, she played with dignity and humility. Unlike some screeching harpies from the land of kimchi, and depressing soap operas. Man, were they irritating like fuck. I could be doing something else and I would still be able to know who just scored a point. Someone ought to stuff their mouth with the pingpong ball, then we'll see who can CHA! their way to a victory, mkay?"

haryani also has a very intertesting post on sexuality and erm, spastic, satay, etc. check it out here. but first, get her password from her or from myself. =)

phy sci quiz was erm, quite okay. and cikgu salinah didn't come. yay! free period. since she had no pesanan or anything like tt, cikgu saripah just told us to do our own work. not tt cikgu saripah went into our class lerrr. so completed last qn of maths assg 9. then rehearsed my lines for re presentation.
so the highlight had to be re presentation. we were so lucky to be first in line to present. arghness. had written my whole script on cue cards and during the presentation, i was rushing coz of time limit. onli 2min 30sec. arghhh. and so, my cue cards got mixed up and so, i just said wateva i needed to say secara impromptu. so funnn man. but luckily had rehearesd my lines well.
but as usual, i guess we flunked it again. just hoping really hard tt we'll pass. just a pass will do. on a lighter note, tt's the end of our first year of re! woohoo! so happy man. no more reports watsoever anymore. yeah.
aniwae, tmr's the big day. wat is it? well, if you dunno, i guess you'll noe later. ahahx. so excited! reality check, heartbeat : 150/min and increasing. whoa. so high. hahax.
on my way back, yajie called me saying tt we have to go back to eunos together. realli?!?! she said so, according to her principal. hope not, or mebbe it'll be better. hmmm. dunno lar.

hey. just completed my letter writing h/w. yeah and i've maths assg 6 , phy sci assg and philo report left. plus my patrol log and mugging for tmr's phy sci quiz. well, tt is indeed my life. tests and assignments. wat a boring life. owell.
aniwae, so ronald and jiawei lost. jiawei was so close to being in the finals yesterday. to quote the straits times, "so sayang!". but still, they did put up an impressive fight. not only them, but also the other singapore athletes. job well done guys! =)
arghhh. my geog test was horrible. horribly horrible. considering i mugged onli the nite before and on the morning itself. so can pass lerrr. im D-E-A-D!
however though, history result was encouraging. and quite a number got 14/15. power man my class. tt's coz our ft is mr soo. ahahz.
yesteday's dk practice was funnn. played soccer and a bit of badminton from like 12.30pm till 1.40pm and then dk started. supposed to start at 12pm. hahax. the usual stuff - pecah suara and singing of juara verse. luckily no tepuk. =P
before dk was scouts, which was erm, boringgg. tied structures and did some tidying up of the pole shed. then, we were released at around 11+am coming to 12pm.
aniwae, 4 sept is damn filled with stuff. ri open house - do dk for mcc and man 01 scouts booth. then famboree, followed by nite hike till 9am. around 24hrs+ in action. like so funnn like tt. but then again, it may be funnn. wait for the time to come lar.
so, 2 more days to go. woohoo. so excited. *bounces around* eh wait, im not mathan. hehe. so evil of me rite. aniwae, it was just a joke. =P
okie lar. gtg now. comeplete my other h/w and mug for phy sci quiz. see ya. bye.

hey. it's gonna be a hectic end of term these remanining 3 weeeks. haiz. STRESS!
first, updates.
monday was prometheum day. was quite erm, boring, but nonetheless, memorable. i dun even noe the head boy, timothy, or the deputy head boy, kaiyang. hmmm. mebbe i noe a lil bit about kaiyang after a brief encounter, but i've definitely never heard of timothy. (or wateva his name is)
oh ya. thy were also paiseh-ed when they wanted to do the 'rafflesians unite' cheer. hahax. but, good. tt illustrates their enthusiasm in carrying out their duties. =P
btw, a memorable quote, "how dare you!" by you-noe-who. hahax. so funny the way she spoke it. no offence tho. =)
flunk re pre-oral presentation. hehe. we weren't even prepared, so, erm, we deserved it i guess. hahax. nvm.
now today. spoke up for like the first time in eng/lit class. hahax. have ideas, but can't be bothered to raise them since some ppl are always full of better ideas. tt is the reality. but anyhow, i am also shy to speak up. afraid kena paiseh. it went okay tho. and my monday's debates analysis was okay i guess. must speak up more! go, sadikin!
pe was soccer again. mr kwan is damn pro. so skilled. but i played well today, with a successful header. woohoo. but as usual, no goals from me. never will be i guess.
tt wraps up the two days.
now, for upcoming activities. yr head 1, miss sim wants us to promote ri at our former sch. wheee. so happy. can meet, erm, ppl? yeah. eunosians i mean.
geog test this fri. started a little bit of mugging. and 10 geog articles too by this fri. but, latest next monday. *heaves a sigh of relief*
re oral presentation next monday. phy sci assg, by next wed.
wheee. a real hectic week. grades are also dropping. but life still has to go on. and so, on a lighter note, 'charmed' is returning tomorrow. or rather, today! waited so long for the season to be shown. so slow man channel 5.

hey. got home quite late today, at around 11+pm. was at dean's house doing re poster. shall talk more abt it later.
warning: this may be a long and boring post. =P
aniwae, had fearless amazing survivor thingy during scouts this morning. wheee. funnn. first up was a detour - choice of 2 tasks, either at the field in front of gymnasium, or the swimming pool. so the challenge was for each patrol to swim 10 laps. well, i was prepared to swim lerrr, the 8th lap i tink. then suddenly, abt at a third or a quarter from my starting line, i freaked out. booo. was not used to swimming in the deep pool. plus haven't been swimming for months. btw, my swimming sux, so yeah. sorry for letting the patrol down, james and sirui and all owls. owell.
after tt was the trust game at jr block. all were blindfolded except for the pl, who directed his 'blind' patrol members to the pole-shed.
then was supposed to do this do-as-many-of-these-tasks-in-half-an-hour thingy. we onli managed to do 2 - listing down of the nos. from 1 to 200 and the staring game. bah. but tt was alright lerrr. the staring thingy was like, uncomfortable.
pull-ups, done by james and kexin, followed by hanging on the pull-up bar, done by james, sirui, kexin and takchuen.
then tasting of the tomato sauce drink and taste-of-your-own-medicine. funnn. hahax.
after tt was the relays. 5 members of each patrol are supposed to run 400m each, doing something after each 100m. after first 100m - 30 push-ups, second 100m - 20 star jumps, third 100m - 20 crunches and 20 squats, and the last 100m - a cheer by the patrol. wheee. i participated lerrr, alongside the four - james, sirui, kexin and takchuen. was hesitant at first, but decided to do some 'useful' stuff for the day. got to do conditioning while exercising. i like.
by luck or mebbe my improper exercises (hope not), i managed to gain the lead for my patrol as i was the first runner. so happy. wheee. mebbe i am fast. hahax.
but my contribution didn't end there. after tt was the vertical challenge or sth like tt. had to climb 24 storeys up a hdb flat. so funnn. i love exercising. got first in my group of sec ones. norbert said i was quite fast. yayness. so happy. =)
wheeeee. i helped my patrol a lot today. however, im still quite disappointed with the swimming incident. arghness. aniwae, i realise tt i love exercising. wheee.

then dean's father brought us to his house in his taxi. did the poster form 2+pm till 10+pm. well, it turned out quite nice. aniwae, i felt as tho treated like a vip. fetched there, ate pizza, and fetched back by his uncle. his mum was afraid of me going home alone, tho i knew the route. takkan nak reject pulak kan. hehe. =)

oh ya. yesterday had a mini discussion on world issues during hmt. so funnn. since our tables were arranged in two Us, i tot it was somewat like the cabinet, so i called it the ri jr malay cabinet ministers' meeting. hahax. lame, but the discussion was funnn. i like! =)
then had rimcc agm after friday prayers. quite okay lar. the new exco members are okay lar, but... ah nvm. aniwae, got 'after eight' chocs by cikgu. i like! wheee.
then went to banquet under raffles hospital to at with nabil coz not much choice at j8. helped nabil in his maths after eating. see, im nice. =)
tt quite summed up everything tt has happened. geog test next week, 10 geog articles due next week, one eng/lit assg, one hist assg, maths problem sums and a phy sci assg. all of which i haven't done. hehe. plus patrol log due 3rd sept. im lazy. yeah.
btw, 9 more days to some important event. can't wait. but sadly, the day before it got re oral presentation. arghhh. but nvm. i shall persevere and get tt and all the test and assg out of the way.
can't wait for prometheum day as well plus teachers' day.

hey. i noe it's like 3am in the morning, but i can't sleep. must have been the coffee. so, here i am. -_-
school wasn't tt bad today. played soccer during pe. funnn. when i was the goalkeeper, i let in one goal. hehe. but nvm tho. i tink my team still won the match. woohoo.
oh ya. amos' goal was cool. good job there. =)

singapore idol was quite entertaining just now. the one who sang 'if i ain't got you' sang well, but they had to 'torture' her. and tt malay gal on mon whom dick lee told to shorten her skirt and stuff, was good too. just because she didn't want to go for a complete make-over, she was denied a chance. and another gal who did tt, got through. i sense biasness. haiz.

hey. done all of my h/w due this week. currently trying to mug for geog quiz tomorrow, but unsuccessful. so now, im chatting with my erm, first crush whil watching singapore's brainiest kid. wheee.
well, watched mean girls just now. so bitchy and fun. however, i tot tt it should be longer tho.
then in late afternoon, went jogging. jogged 8 rounds today. woohoo. did not do any conditioning tho. aniwae, guess i won't be able to jog tt often anymore after today.
just watched the malay news and saw the new cabinet. the 'minister for environment' is now changed to 'minister for the environment and water resources'. so long and a bit funny. why must add the water thingy? alerrr.

hey. i just realised tt evilness + sarcasm = me. hahax. =P
aniwae, ndp was quite fun. i kept 'entertaining' my family with my sarcastic and witty remarks, which i shall not mention. hehe. =P
btw, can't anyone do the flying fox? mebbe not anyone ler, but most ppl.
singapore idol was highly entertaining. tt dick lee and the most right guy are quite blunt and straightforward in their remarks. so evil kaes. their evilness far surpass mine. so you see, im nice.
oh ya. read the papers yesterday and realised tt the taufik guy whose house was burnt down is actually my friend. didn't noe tt till i saw his pic. i knew tt the guy is from ping yi and an ex-eunosian, but i didn't noe tt i knew him. he's a nice guy ler, and i realli pity him. kesian sey.
btw, i was wondering why eunos primary didn't hold a fund raising for him. once a eunosian, always a eunosian. hehe. =)
and th most unlikely person added me to her friendster list and 'begged' me to accept the friend request. hahax. so funny ler tt gal.

hey. i just realised tt evilness and sarcasm are my fortes. hahax. i realised tt i haven't blogged for a week. well, im tired of blogging. aniwae, updates.
well, national day celebrations on friday was quite nice. mrs lim jee nee sang quite well. she's good. the play was quite lame but nonetheless, enjoyable. i noe it's contradicting, but wateva. however though, to be honest, imran singing was not tt good. to be truly honest, he destroyed the band's music. the drummer was good, and so was jermyn, kaiyang, and the guitarists and the keyboard player. overall, the band did not need imran's singing. sorry dude, but i was being honest. (not evil, tho it is one of my forte =P)
after tt, watched i,robot. was very exciting and action-packed. a very good movie. like will smith's sarcastic remark, "*sneezes* sorry, im allergic to bullshit" or sth like tt. i so love sarcasm. wheee.
then yesterday, had scouts orienteering thingy. went from queenstown to buona vista, then to queenstown. fun. never knew tt anchorpoint was the shopping mall opp ikea. i noe it's like '-_-', but i've never gone to ikea after the shopping centre was completed. so, there.
before going home, went to compass point and ate at bk. then went to cold sotrage and bought 2 cans of justea! with aloe vera (my current addiction, plus 1 justea! bubble tea with apple and 1 justea! bubble tea with peach. bleargh. bubble tea is actually carbonated tea. bubbles, geddit? the apple one is like zapple, but the peach one is quite nice lar. oh ya. after tt, went to hello! and got some hp brochures. im deciding whether i should buy a new hp. onli deciding. so i may or may not buy. but aniwae, if you've got a hp to recommend, drop a tag or sth.
today, let's see. did some h/w. then went jogging and did some conditioning at around 5pm. then watched gilmore girls, then double happiness. oh ya. paris kissed an older man and tt was so yucky. *pukes* aniwae, why issit called double happiness. should have been double sadness. hahax. can't wait for next season.
now here i am chatting from like 9pm.
oh ya. abt my evilness and sarcasm, i applied it to marylamb. hahax. me and kak noddy are like being super evil to marylamb. and arina is just saying, "eyyy... so evil". hahax. well, tt's why sarcasm and evilness are my fortes. just ask my friends. =P
btw, everything's back to normal - my internet, tagboard, and iwebmusic.com. and i can see many ppl using iwebmusic already. am i the influential one? =P
the past 2 weeks and the coming weeks were/are filled with tests, quizzes and everything. flunked my maths test. did ok for hmt oral, geog quiz and phy sci quiz. dunno why mr andrew lim was angry. it was quite a diff quiz wat. i see no point in getting angry. my geog quiz is the best so far. im so happy coz i finally got a somewhat good grade for my weakest subject, geog. however, i tink im did badly for bio sci test last thurs. history test and geog test this coming week. im so dead.

hey ppl. i've not touched my bloggie for quite a long time. very busy nowadays. okie. now for the updates.
actualli, a lot of things happened, but i shall onli blog abt the last two days.
on friday, went for dramafeste. was quite fun and exciting. yaoguang's sooooo cute (minus the ugly part). oh ya. speaking of which, the results were announced at yesterday's nite show. and mathan has yet to tell me the results. anyone who noes, can you pls drop me a tag or sth. thanx. =)
aniwae, sth funny happened after sch. christopher told me tt mrs hope chan wanted to see both of us coz of sth tt we wrote in arif's journal. shris was like, "im screwed lah" thingy but arif and i kept telling him tt it was gonna be alright. tt chris worries too much.
well, you guys must be wondering wat we wrote. i wrote a similar comment tt mrs chan wrote on arif's journal, which was sth like "be sure to keep up with your journal. we are in week 5, you should be starting on chapter 9." it was just meant as a joke to tease arif coz he had not done his journal entries. then chris, upon seeing wat i wrote, wrote "naughty!" below my comment. then he tot of the song by tata young and added "sexy! (naughty!) bitchy! you!". and arif forgot to erase it, cauisng a misunderstanding.
mrs chan circled the "bitchy" part and wanted to see the person who wrote it. she tot tt we were mocking her comment on arif's journal as bitchy. hahax. so we explained everything to her. and after tt, chris said tt he will not be hearing tt song for quite a while. very the funny. hahax.
on saturday, had an mcc activity which was a bukit timah hike. i tot tt it was gonna be lame and boring, but it turned out to be fun. we were broken into groups and my group consisted of me, nabil and taufik azim, and the leader was dani. dani kept
crapping throughout the hike. very crappy guy.
for the hike, we came in third. at first, we were quite close to adly's team when climbing the stairs, but suddenly, they came like a few minutes after us. mebbe they got lost? dunno lar.
we even managed to do the flying fox, which none of the other groups did. was quite fun.
for the bahasa/ budaya quiz, we got second. wheee. taufik azim is a very knowledgeable guy. gave us many of the ans. and dani was cursing himself for a while onli lar, coz he spelt the word 'penakatan' as 'penekatan'. kesian. and also coz of the peribahasa which he forgot.
then after lunch, which was nasi goreng with chicken drumstick and nugget from kampung istimewa, we had sketsa. my group's was a bit impromtu but we managed to get third. woohoo. not bad after all. i liked adly's group's sketsa. faizin acted very well as a dumb cikgu, who didn't noe much, and gave ridiculous ans to his student's qns. hahax.
overall standing, my group got third! yayness.
had a great day with the mcc members. i tink the hike somehow did manage to reach its aim after all. kudos to those who organised it. =)
after tt, i went home with faizin. took 67 and dropped at little india and took the nel. was quite fun talking to him abt everything. a misunderstood guy.
after tt, went back to sch for shadow campfire, but there was no campfire. how fun. so i just went home. hahax. felt soooo paiseh-ed. hehe.

then after lunch, which was nasi goreng with chicken drumstick and nugget from kampung istimewa, we had sketsa. my group's was a bit impromtu but we managed to get third. woohoo. not bad after all. i liked adly's group's sketsa. faizin acted very well as a dumb cikgu, who didn't noe much, and gave ridiculous ans to his student's qns. hahax.
overall standing, my group got third! yayness.
had a great day with the mcc members. i tink the hike somehow did manage to reach its aim after all. kudos to those who organised it. =)
after tt, i went home with faizin. took 67 and dropped at little india and took the nel. was quite fun talking to him abt everything. a misunderstood guy.
after tt, went back to sch for shadow campfire, but there was no campfire. how fun. so i just went home. hahax. felt soooo paiseh-ed. hehe.
