heyyy. sorry for the lack of updates. well, it's been a busy weekend, especially from friday with batchmates outing, saturday with relatives coming over and some visiting to grandaunts' at night, and just today, or yesterday, rather, with more visiting. (:
oh. and the green packets sure are much heavier this year. xP hahahah.
ohwell. let's just go on a day-by-day account from tuesday, shall we.
tuesday, 24octwell, as usual, visited grandpa's house at toapayoh late in the afternoon, then to my eldest aunt's in the evening. hmmm, there's no more central gathering place for my maternal side since both granndparents have passed on. gah. ohwells. and speaking of which, i realised that i've only left 1 surviving 1st generation family member - my paternal grandpa, and i've lost 2 out of 4 just this year.
anyway, photos of mummy and daddy, and us, four siblings, on 190. which took us um, 15 shots to perfect? hahahah. and the guy by the exit must have been observing us since he kinda laughed and looked at us when we got off. xP
wednesday, 25octum. nth much. special prog and scouts practical test. which i passed. so yay. (:
thursday, 26octwellwellwell. the release of ct papers. part 1. hahahah. yes, there's still a part 2 this tues. hmmm. kinda expected the results, though i was pleasantly surprised for eng, but horribly disappointed for maths. which i failed, btw, if you're wondering. sigh. gah. maths oh maths. and furthermore, i'm the lowest in class. how demoralising can that be, when everyone else around me got 40+ and bryan, with 53. =/ and i got? 26.5 out of a 60. damn. that hurts badly.
well, i guess i really have to buck up next year. regain my 4.0 for maths just like in lower sec. ah. i hope misscho isn't very disappointed. i don't know. it just feels as though i've let her down. esp since she didn't say anything to me at all. gah. anyhows. this is my worst performance yet in a major test. ouch! must say that i am veryvery dissapointed. but that being said, for those who fared like me, relax larh. don't be too depressed yeah. (:
friday, 27octjalan rayer with batchmates! (: funfunfun. though we started late in the afternoon, we managed to cover 3 houses! hahahah. expected 6, but well, we underestimated the time we spent in each house. oh, actually 4, inclusive of mine.
oh. and i also had some meeting in school earlier on in the morning. -.-
so anyway, went to my house first, followed by hijazi's, the mr i-live-in-a-semi-d. nice house, btw, and his neighbour's bungalow is just wow larh. ah, the life of the rich. how poor and inferior i feel. xP hahahah. then fawaz's (where they played ps2 for almost an hour) and ended off at ilham's. actually, the jalan rayer was kinda stone at the start, but well, when haris, and arif especially, arrived at hijazi's (they had a rugby match), silence ceased to prevail for the whole jalan rayer. hahahah. joker ter-amat sangat.
some funny peristiwas:
fawaz: eh. why nabil not coming ah?
me: um. oh. he got heart attack. (in a rather serious tone as well, claimed fawaz)
a few secs later... OH! nonono. i meant he has a headache. -.-"
kwangkwangkwang. sorry ah, nabil. ter-curse. xP well, you see, HEAdAche, and HEArt Attack appears to be around the same. hahahah. my mind was thinking headache, but my mouth just uttered the latter.
faizin: (taste drink served in fawaz's house) mmm. sedap jugak this drink.
campur ____ cordial dengan zapple.
me: okay. interesting. i thought zapple jer.
amin: ah. from the words of a professional.
hahahah. amin amin. too influenced by xiao^2 already.
oh. and apart from that, ilham was also being very lame and super paranoid:
"eh how? my house got nothing entertaining. no cabletv (like mine), not big (like hijazi's), don't have ps2 (like fawaz's). HOW? and i also dunno how to host."
and he kept harping on that issue when we were at fawaz's. hahahah. interesting larh he. xP
anyway, sorta group pics of the batch (excluding me of course. was taking the photos.).
saturday, 28octmeeting in the morning. which was okay larh. but kinda brief in my opinion. anyhows. had a rather deep talk (okay, maybe not really) about religion over lunch, and about lawjiahao going to church with a closed mind. hahahah. he's a free-thinker btw. well. religion was basically the main topic of discussion. interesting how we got there. anyway, after that, we took quite some time to decide where to go next, while waiting for will to arrive, and before long, we made our way to bishan library to play um, worms? on paul's laptop. but i didn't join them in playing larh. left moments after finding a good spot in the library. since i figured perhaps my family would wanna go out that afternoon.
so i came home to a house with some relatives. and not long after, more came. both from my maternal and paternal sides. later in the evening, bro and me followed dad and mum to our maternal gradaunts' houses. (:
sunday, 29octwent to my maternal uncle and aunt's houses, and my paternal aunt's house. basically that. hahahah. xP oh. but with highly adorable cousins/nieces/nephews. (:

30 ramadan 1427h
mornings! hahahah. well, can't really sleep due to excessive sleep xP over the weekend, i guess. hoho. and perhaps also due to the excitement for hari raya! (:
anyhows. in around an hour's time, it's gonna be the last sahur for the year. (: which means that it's the last day of ramadan. which also means that in less than 24hours' time, it' gonna be hari raya already. woohoo. so can't wait.
okayokay. useless post, i know. but ohwells.

hahahah. heyyy. so i'm finally back to blogging again, after a month-long hiatus. well, and as usual, apart from the commontests, yours truly succumbed to the evil, deadly sin of laziness. aha. not suprising eh? xP
anyway, a lot has happened since i last blogged. like the
englit festival of tragedies, where our "Ruffles" parody of Doctor Faustus earned us a special mention, after the top three prizes. (: which i felt was really an achievement. kudos to all involved: nabil, chriskwan, adrielchang, leonardlee, and justinchua.
