go figure!
like every other J2 mentions on their blog - the stress is really building up. well, it's only natural, since it is after all the year of our dreaded As. =/ oh well, life's like that!
anyway, the past week's been really awesomely wonderful. (though academic side of things hasn't been looking particularly good; that, i shall have to worry about soon enough)
from the improvement in House standings from
fourth to
third and finally ending off the week in
second place, all our efforts seem to be paying off. and i'm not just talking about the HouseD and HouseComm; in fact,
every single BBian who's been participating enthusiastically in IHCs and House events for that matter, you guys really deserve a huge pat on the back. you guys don't know how much it means to the HouseD that you're putting in your all for the House, and that, as Natalie mentions over and over again, truly inspires and motivates us to press on with everything. and for that, i am very thankful.
like yesterday's
BB GOES GREEN! it was really heartening to see such an encouraging turnout, and even to those who came only for a fraction of it, thank you for bothering. (: it was really nice to hear such positive remarks about the event even though you guys had to toil under the sun raking fallen leaves and weeding. haha, after all, it was a CIP activity right!
and of course, to those who have actively participated in the
Aesthetics IHCs, thank you for making our second placing possible. you guys are just too awesome. (((:

a plant-in-progress!i'll try my best to channel the botanist in me and make the plant (it'd grow pretty flowers ah!) grow oh so healthily. and although only THREE OUT OF NINETEEN of you went for BBGG, your OGLs shall be kind enough to overlook that issue if at least half of you guys turn up for OMG and BBq next week. xD must ah! (:
