back from the land of
zhen zhu nai cha and loads of other unHalal goodness! well, despite that, the shopping was awesome though short. i was totally excited by their
NET store, which had a much wider collection than the outlets here, and i pretty much got my clothes from there. oh, and i am extremely proud of my Mandarin which helped me when i was shopping alone. i even managed to ask the shop assistant to check out if two items were available in other outlets (in Mandarin, i kid you not!), and he promptly got them for me. i have clearly earned my TCC badge yo - Taiwan Confidence Course! =D
oh, and i managed to pay a visit to the
Taipei Grand Mosque, which was small but had beautiful architecture, and a Halal eatery round the corner. yeah, you could say i was a happy Muslim in Taipei ah. (:
