hey. i just realised today tt im evil. evil shall reign. muahaha.
the two evil things i did today were...
firstly, during hmt, we were supposed to read a passage for oral exam prep. and i kept laughing when ilham was reading coz he talks very funny, therefore, when he reads aloud, it also funny ler. sorry ya. i just couldn't control my laughter. (it's plain evilness actualli)
the second evil thing tt i did was during geog. our new geog teacher is mr hussain and he cannot pronounce 'r' properly. so, the way he speaks is kinda funny. (no offence pls) and during and even after his lesson, i was like imitating the way he speaks, speaking particularly words with the letter 'r' in them. is tt just evil or wat? even arif (i also imitated mr hussain when i called arif) and fawaz were doing wat i did. yayness. evil has spread. muahaha.
but actualli, i tink im realli evil ler. so, sori to those whom i made fun of or had been evil to. sori. =) (see, im not tt evil after all)
aniwae, we played a very, i mean very lame game during phy sci, which i tink was invented by our wonderful phy sci teacher and form teacher 2, mr andrew lim. shall not explain further coz it'll make me wanna laugh my head off. even arif said so. but no offence pls. =)

hey. just had a blackout from 10pm till 10.30pm. damn fun. got to play with candles.
but, couldn't use my comp. but aniwae, it was onli a mere 30 mins. no big deal.

hey. sch wasn't tt bad today.
first, as usual, was hm's assembly. his speech abt china and sth abt moral was quite boring. i was like sleeping from the second half of it. -_-
eng/lit was quite fun. mrs chan's speech was quite inspiring. but of all things, letter writing for the rest of the year. how modern and fun. aniwae, tmr, we'll be watching videos. so, yeah. =)
got back phy sci quiz 3 tt we did last term. well, as i expected, i did not fare tt well. or rather, i fared very bad. got 3rd bottom of the whole class, with a mark of 8/15. hehe. i guess i'd better start mugging for phy sci now. oh ya. i was kinda throwing sarcastic remarks during the lesson. mebbe i've started on my aim for this term and for the rest of the year - to be more active in other subjects other than hmt. hehe. sarcasm. i like. =)
there was no art lesson due to unknown reasons. tt's yayness. but, had to collect the maths assg and review. and tt took up the whole period. how fun.
during hmt, had to write down the meaning of the vocab words (kosakata) for the malay articles. freakness. she onli told us to look up the meaning of the words. there's a diff alright.
re lecture was boring too. slept like throughout the whole thing. but luckily, it wasn't a meeting. i'd rather have boring lectures than meetings. hehe. and never did i know tt mr jai singh is actually dr jai singh. he's already gotten his phd alright.
and to sum up, the first day of term 3/ semester 2 was quite okay. but there's already h/w. how fun again. hope tt i'll be able to stay awake to watch 'alias' later.
i guess tt's all. see ya all. and btw, im quite busy nowadays, so i'll probably not be blogging every single day. see ya all. bye. =)

hey. just watched 'gilmore girls' a few mins ago. this episode is quite sad.
rory had to find out abt dean's wedding the moment she went home for the weekend and even run into him. it was realli sad and heart breaking in the closing moments of the episode, when rory was secretly viewing the wedding from afar (she was invited but decided not to go). during tt time, she had to force back tears in her eyes. how can a person see his/her ex's wedding when they went through quite a lot and he/she regretted breaking up in the first place. haiz. realli sad.
aniwae, the scouts regatta was quite boring. and the music they played were camp songs. how nice is tt? but luckily it was changed to 'normal' music later on.
i tink tt we did quite well in the raft competition. yayness. and the raft was sea worthy after all. *grins*
well, tomorrow is the start of a new sch term. can't believe tt a month of hols has just passed. mebbe coz i was rushing my hols h/w on the last week, so, i couldn't realli enjoy the last week tt much.
as usual, i've learnt not to slack too much during the hols and to start doing h/w as early as possible, so tt later, i can slack more and realli enjoy the remainder of my hols.
but i've already learnt this lesson many times, and i've yet to change. haiz.
aniwae, hope tt tomorrow will be quite a good 1st sch day of the term/semester and tt not much h/w will be given. perhaps none at all. hehe. *prays hard*

hey. the kayaking competition is tomorrow, or rather, today. a bit the excited. onli a bit. coz i was signed up for it.

hey. i've completed half of my h/w under 24 hrs. how's tt? i noe tt's not tt great as compared to muggers, but some applause pls. hehe. thank you. =)
aniwae, as i was reading through the e-mails abt the 3rd Scout Regatta, a kayaking competition tt i was signed up, i realised tt it's only on sun. they have changed it from sat and sun to only sun. didn't read the e-mail thoroughly tt day. goonduness.
the thought tt it'll take up my sat and sun made me rush my h/w like mad. well, if ya ppl tink im gonna take it easy today, then you're wrong. coz i have to read two books. and tt will take abt two days for me. i noe tt you muggers out there can do it under 24 hrs, but im not one. so, there. =)

hey. sori for not blogging these past few days. been busy doing my h/w. last minute rush. hehe.
well, went to east coast park for an outing with my ex-classmates yesterday. so happy to see them again. read my friend's bloggie (weena) for details. click here.

hey. yayness. finally bought a bag. one item down on my wishlist. =)
well, in the morning, had qm session. as usual, we washed tents, pegs, etc. hmmm. shan't go into the details. very boring. and after tt, had a short ac debrief and patrol log briefing.
after the whole thing, went to j8 to eat with haliim and benjamin hong. ate at ljs first, then followed haliim to mac's coz he didn't want to eat at ljs. dunno why. aniwae, i ate the fish n chips meal with a large (i mean LARGE) ice lemon tea, which i ordered by accident.
hmmm. then waited for my sis at bugis mrt station for like 45 mins. so tiring man. supposed to be at 2.15pm, so i reached there at abt 2pm. then waited and waited like forever for her. haiz.
then browsed around the bags' stalls at bugis. there were like so many stalls but most of them sold the same bags. i found a very nice dark blue and black sling bag at the very first stall. costs $20 but was reduced to $18. but still, i decided to browse somemore. when i tot tt i was quite done looking around, i decided to buy the same bag from another stall. was sold at $22, but due to some burnt wire in the area earlier, the stall owner decided to reduce it to $18. then my sis bargained for $17 and got tt price. so i bought it. whee. so happy. =)
after tt, i felt as tho my stomach was empty tho i had eaten like 2 hrs ago. so, i decided to eat at ljs again. felt better.
then we toured around parco bugis junction looking for accessories. i mean my sis ler. then didn't buy anything and went home.
whee. im so happy. finally bought a bag. so in love with it. =)

hey. well, an error in yesterday's entry. well, the family day was held at the zoo, not at the jurong birdpark. but it still sounds childish tho.
aniwae, was quite boring lar. and the games were like lame, except for the archery thingy. jakonism ler. i never tried it before, so i was like "why not give it a go". and my first shot was like very undescribable (negative btw). i pulled the arrow already and i was like "how do you fire this thing". i tried to push the arrow from the back out of the string and i tot, "it will not move rite?". but i still tired it and eureka, it fell down. hahax. then picked it up again and then put it on the bow. then i realised tt i just needed to let the arrow go. alerr. so stupid lar me. hahax.
and aniwae, the aim was to let the arrow stick on the board. had three tries and managed to get two successful ones. so happy coz many didn't manage to get any and quite a few got one or two. hahax.
and, instead of a dumb blonde but quite a good singer, we have our very own dumb rjc-an and also a bad singer in our family. none other than my bro. well, i wanted him to take a pic of me, and then when he was adjusting the camera, he said tt it was blur. i was like "how can my pic be blur?". and he tried again but still it was blur.
then miraculously, he exclaimed, "eh, my specs!". alerr. he forgot to put on his specs before he took the pic. hahax. =)
speaking of dumb blonde, i remembered a quote from yesterday's 'the simple life':
paris hilton - "what's the well for?"
the woman - "for drawing water"
erm. tt's like so duh. dumb paris.
back to the family day, after tt, browsed bags at op and 77th street but they are quite expensive. there's this bag tt i quite like from op tt costs $31.90 after a 20% discount (u.p.$39.90). but tt's still a bit ex ler.
so i've decided to head down to bugis tomorrow after scouts. hope to find a nice but inexpensive bag there. =)

hey. nth much happened today.
well, i went to bugis this morning. not to shop, but to accompany my sis to return some stuff tt she was suppposed to sell. aniwae, im broke lar, so how can i be shopping rite?
and in the afternoon, i had a game of badmintion with my sis and bro. and tt was the only exercise i had the whole week. hehe. im very lazy. =)
i realised tt i've been slacking too much tt im behind schedule. haven't even completed the 2nd draft of my hmt compo. haiz.
and there's like a lot more h/w i haven't done. arghhh. im dead liaoz. next week is the last week of sch and im out on 4 days, leaving me with only 2 days to complete my h/w. arghhh.
but i guess hmt articles and book review can be delayed till the end of the first week so tt's sth off my mind. phew.
nah. shall stop worrying abt h/w for now. if not, i can die too.
aniwae, tomorrow is my mum's company's family day celebration at singapore zoological gardens.
such a wu liao place rite. wat to do. but im looking forward to some fun. yayness. =)

aniwae, went to j8 just now for mathan's treat at kfc. ate the buddy's meal. then we walked all around j8 coz we were bored. erm. mebbe onli me. then we looked at charmed books, clothes, and everything else.
hmmm. the watch tt mathan bought is very cool. and it's blue. so nice. i love it.

oh ya. met zhaoyu at popular. he was buying some assessment books i guess. he must have truly found/sought his organised and highly efficient side which he has lost touch with for the past year and a half. good for ya, dude. will miss your old side i guess. =)

hey. my new lil cousin is soo cute (minus the ugly part).
he looks soo damn adorable esp when he sleeps. well, coz he was sleeping the whole time. but he's quite small, weighing only around 2.8kg. imagine how light tt is.
aniwae, i did manage to see him open his eyes for a while tho. very adorable. =)
and his name is zulfazrul. short form - azrul.
gee, such a cool and unique name. =)
ah. at last. tomorrow is my b'dae. yayness. so excited. =)
well, mathan's gonna treat me at j8 tomorrow at around 2+pm. on top of tt, he even bought me a watch. so nice of him. =)
but i tink he kinda overspent. like a treat's too much already. i kinda feel bad, but he insisted. wat to do. he's such a kind buddy. =)

hey. completed the drafts of my two hmt compo h/w. yayness. damn happy.
shall write the final ones tomorrow in the morning.
my target tomorrow is to do tt and to finish my geog article review. hope tt i can reach my target.
well then, at this rate (quite slow actualli) i hope to finish all my h/w, except for the hmt book review and the 'i, robot' journal, by the end of this week. =)
watched 'a child's hope 2' just now. quite nice. =)
somehow, the theme song reminded me of the time when i came back from orientation camp last january coz during those days, there was a repeat telecast of 'a child's hope' at 5.30pm. it was quite a touching show to watch since i was quite tired then.
erm. i dun think tt made sense. hahax. ignore tt crap.
aniwae, can't wait to see my new lil cousin tomorrow. im sure he's cute, ermm i mean adorable. very adorable. can't wait to pinch his rosy cheeks. hehe.

a bit the stereotype happy ending, but nonetheless, very touching and erm... nice? my vocab's very limited. hehe.
'a child's hope 2' doesn't seem to have any of the actors/actresses from 'a child's hope'. wonder how it will turn out. hopefully, it'll be as memorable as the first one.
well. i just received an e-mail stating tt i was signed up for a kayaking competition. arghhh. my kayaking skills aren't tt great tho i already got the 1-star cert. i'll onli put my group into trouble.

hey. just got back from popular.
arghh. i went to the cd-rama section to see gaz's album, and guess wat i saw. another version of his new 2nd album. and it has all the 17 tracks from his album released in another part of the world.
i bought the one with 14 tracks and a bonus vcd. and this version tt i saw had the same 14 tracks on 1 cd and a bonus cd containing 3 tracks from his previous album plus the 3 originally unreleased tracks. the cover, a grayscale pic of him, is also much nicer.
arghhh. i want this new version, but i have no money. arghhh. then it shall be in my wishlist section for now. arghhh.

hey. just as i had promised, here's my entry on annual camp. it'll be quite long and not tt entertaining, so be prepared. hehe.
day 1 (tues, 8 jun)
well, firstly, we assembled at the scouts den at 7.30am, and proceeded to the junior block field for flag break. after tt till lunch, we had camp establishment, which was mainly setting up our sleeping tents and kitchen tents, and carrying poles. the lunch was packed jap food, so haliim, zul and me guessed tt it wasn't halal as it was from the jap food van. so we just starved. hehe.
then, more camp establishment, prayers, more camp establishment, prayers, dinner and prayer. dinner was the same food, so haliim and me just ate nuts from the dining hall vending machine.
after tt was the stupid quiz, which unfortunately, my patrol, owl, got last place. but nvm.
then, haliim, zul and me went to bathe in the toilet under the malay room, and did our prayers. after quite a tiring day, it was finally sleep time.
day 2 (wed, 9 jun)
woke up around 6.40am, washed-up, prayers, and ate breakfast, which was 2 pieces of plain bread. had flag break followed by inspection. well, stl kar wee is such a nice guy, i must say. hehe. =)
then, more camp establishment.
suddenly, the not-so unexpected thing happened at around 11.25am. it rained. tt happened at least once during every annual camp. and the wind was so strong tt my patrol's kitchen tent collasped. we were evacuated into the junior block, and slacked. i even had time to take a short nap. hehe.
then, prayers, followed by station games at 3pm. well, my patrol did very well. won the squares thingy against hawk, with a score of 14 to 13. won snake and ladders against eagle, with a score of 20 to 17.5. drew with kingfisher for the 5 carrom tasks.
after tt was prayers, dinner prep, prayers at 7.30pm and dinner. it was competitive dinner, which meant tt we had to cook our own food. well, not knowing wat they had cooked before in the pots and pans, we (haliim, zul and me) were allowed to buy our own food. thanx to helpful zul, who volunteered to buy fried noodles for us, we did not need to eat nuts anymore. thanx. =)
then, dinner clean-up and skill-o-rama, an event where you can showcase your unique skills, tt ended at 11.30pm. haliim couldn't do his burping skill due to his full stomach and his acrobatic act, putting his legs behind his head, was considered a freak show. are they trying to imply tt he's a freak. hehe. aniwae, my patrol again got last place, but again nvm.
after tt was exodus briefing, which was cross-country (actualli cross-bishan). we were going to run around bishan for abt 3km the next morning, on an empty stomach. awww. hehe.
then, took a bath, prayers and a well deserved rest at 1.15am.
day 3
woke up at around 6.30am, wash-up and prayers. exodus was at around 7.45am. i got 16th position, clocking a time of abt 28 min. very proud. =)
after tt was flag break and inspection. followed by lunch prep. had to help my patrol buy bee thye mak from ntuc. was kinda lost looking for the bee thye mak. hehe.
then prayers at 1.30pm. followed by stuff evacuation since the sky was threatening to rain. but it didn't. haiz. my precious time and energy wasted. hehe. =)
lunch was at 3.30pm and it was fried rice. thanx to zul again.
then prayers at 4.35pm and back to building our gateway.
then prayers at 7.55pm again, dinner prep, dinner and dinner clean-up. dinner was cheeseburger from mc's, bought by zul again. thanx.
after tt was 'wrath of the phoenix', and back to dinner clean-up.
then, took a bath, prayers and slept at around 1.50am.
day 4
woke up at around 6.40pm, wash-up and prayers.
then, breakfast prep and breakfast. since breakfast was cooked by ourselves, haliim, zul and me did not take breakfast tt morning. furthermore, we were gonna eat lunch before our friday prayers.
back to gateway building, and unexpectedly, we were ordered to do 47 push-ups due to the clogged basins. all of the cleaners were ticked off by their boss because if the clogged basins, which were our doing. luckily, the cleaners were kind enough not to blame us and tell their boss. so, the punishment was very just. and thanx cleaners. =)
then, at 10.30pm, it was flag break, followed by inspection. i mean supposed to be followed by inspection. the inspection did not occur due to unknown reasons, and tt wasted all of our precious time unpacking our stuff. haiz. =|
around 11.45am, just after they announced tt there was no inspection, haliim, zul and me changed out of our scout uniform and went for our friday prayers. well, before going to the mosque, we went to mc's to have our lunch and i ordered a cheeseburger deluxe meal. mmm. very delicious.
in the mosque, we met hanif, and shortly after tt, haris came. the three of us were very tired and sleepy tt we dozed off several times during the sermon. zzZ...
we were back at around 2.40pm. it was still lunch prep. after lunch, haliim and me carried some of the extra poles back to the poleshed. how tiring.
prayers at around 5.50pm, followed by bbq prep. as the chicken wings were not halal, and the utensils were of unknown past, haliim, zul and me decided to eat dinner at mc's.
but first, prayers at 7.50pm.
then, at around 8.10pm, when we were abt to go to j8, the fire alarm in the junior block rang due to smoke tt was detected. some ppl had burned the charcoal in the junior block. so smart. ;)
we had our dinner at mc's and i again ordered a cheeseburger deluxe meal. then sth funny (mebbe not) happened and was neither mentioned in haliim's nor zul's blog. well, at around 8.45pm, when zul was eating his french fries, his tooth came out. hahax. =)
so, he was very quiet from the moment we left mc's until we came back to the campsite.
there was an award presentation of proficiency badges and other badges/certificates at around 9.40pm. and the j2s, last year's j1s in charge of our scout group, announced the champion patrol, which was kingfisher. congrats. =)
after tt was festival of lights prep and festival of lights. well, someone was asleep throughout all these and he still can admit it. who else but zul. hehe.
well, then clean-up, took a bath at around 2.15am and prayers.
then, slept at around 3.15am. so early. hahax.
day 5
woke up only at around 6.50am.
wash-up, prayers and breakfast, which was 1 piece of bread.
falg break at around 7.20am, and took down gateway/structure.
campsite clear-up, including packing back tents, picking up litter, etc.
then at around 2.15pm, it was the debrief and prize presentation. my patrol, owl got last place, but it was okay, and zul's patrol, kestrel got 1st place. congrats. =) (the win was not due to zul, but due to his capable patrol leader hiok hong, assistant patrol leader daniel, kin kit, and some sec 2s and 1s)
was released at around 2.45pm.
overall, the camp was okay but a bit boring due to the lack of activities. most of the time was dominated by the meal preps.
well, now, im more tanned (actualli dark) but i love my complexion. hahax. a bit the vain rite. =)
still feeling tired and most h/w not done. arghhh. have to really make use of the next two weeks.
but on the bright side, i have my tv, cds, music player, etc, back. yayness. =)

then prayers at 7.55pm again, dinner prep, dinner and dinner clean-up. dinner was cheeseburger from mc's, bought by zul again. thanx.
after tt was 'wrath of the phoenix', and back to dinner clean-up.
then, took a bath, prayers and slept at around 1.50am.
day 4
woke up at around 6.40pm, wash-up and prayers.
then, breakfast prep and breakfast. since breakfast was cooked by ourselves, haliim, zul and me did not take breakfast tt morning. furthermore, we were gonna eat lunch before our friday prayers.
back to gateway building, and unexpectedly, we were ordered to do 47 push-ups due to the clogged basins. all of the cleaners were ticked off by their boss because if the clogged basins, which were our doing. luckily, the cleaners were kind enough not to blame us and tell their boss. so, the punishment was very just. and thanx cleaners. =)
then, at 10.30pm, it was flag break, followed by inspection. i mean supposed to be followed by inspection. the inspection did not occur due to unknown reasons, and tt wasted all of our precious time unpacking our stuff. haiz. =|
around 11.45am, just after they announced tt there was no inspection, haliim, zul and me changed out of our scout uniform and went for our friday prayers. well, before going to the mosque, we went to mc's to have our lunch and i ordered a cheeseburger deluxe meal. mmm. very delicious.
in the mosque, we met hanif, and shortly after tt, haris came. the three of us were very tired and sleepy tt we dozed off several times during the sermon. zzZ...
we were back at around 2.40pm. it was still lunch prep. after lunch, haliim and me carried some of the extra poles back to the poleshed. how tiring.
prayers at around 5.50pm, followed by bbq prep. as the chicken wings were not halal, and the utensils were of unknown past, haliim, zul and me decided to eat dinner at mc's.
but first, prayers at 7.50pm.
then, at around 8.10pm, when we were abt to go to j8, the fire alarm in the junior block rang due to smoke tt was detected. some ppl had burned the charcoal in the junior block. so smart. ;)
we had our dinner at mc's and i again ordered a cheeseburger deluxe meal. then sth funny (mebbe not) happened and was neither mentioned in haliim's nor zul's blog. well, at around 8.45pm, when zul was eating his french fries, his tooth came out. hahax. =)
so, he was very quiet from the moment we left mc's until we came back to the campsite.
there was an award presentation of proficiency badges and other badges/certificates at around 9.40pm. and the j2s, last year's j1s in charge of our scout group, announced the champion patrol, which was kingfisher. congrats. =)
after tt was festival of lights prep and festival of lights. well, someone was asleep throughout all these and he still can admit it. who else but zul. hehe.
well, then clean-up, took a bath at around 2.15am and prayers.
then, slept at around 3.15am. so early. hahax.
day 5
woke up only at around 6.50am.
wash-up, prayers and breakfast, which was 1 piece of bread.
falg break at around 7.20am, and took down gateway/structure.
campsite clear-up, including packing back tents, picking up litter, etc.
then at around 2.15pm, it was the debrief and prize presentation. my patrol, owl got last place, but it was okay, and zul's patrol, kestrel got 1st place. congrats. =) (the win was not due to zul, but due to his capable patrol leader hiok hong, assistant patrol leader daniel, kin kit, and some sec 2s and 1s)
was released at around 2.45pm.
overall, the camp was okay but a bit boring due to the lack of activities. most of the time was dominated by the meal preps.
well, now, im more tanned (actualli dark) but i love my complexion. hahax. a bit the vain rite. =)
still feeling tired and most h/w not done. arghhh. have to really make use of the next two weeks.
but on the bright side, i have my tv, cds, music player, etc, back. yayness. =)

oh ya. im very happy coz i've done some work. yay. but left like around 85%. hehe. gotta really do my work tomorrow coz im out from tues till sun. then left abt 2 weeks to wrap up my h/w. arghhh. someone/sth, pls help me.

hey. was very bored to blog yesterday. hehe.
aniwae, yesterday was just scouts unit qm session. we washed the tents to get them ready for the camp. apart from tt, haliim and me went around the school to find hoses so tt it would be easier to wash the tents. on our way, we were a bit the high and sang songs like mad ppl. well, it was very fun. hahax.
last nite, we had a mass convo with around 12 ppl. very the mad. hahax. then my com hanged a few times during the chat. everyone was typing sth all the time so i was quite entertained. and arina with her pink-ness. hahax.
then, around 9+ i decided to watch 'man at forty' so i decided to pull out of the mass convo.
speaking of 'man at forty', the storyline now is very interesting. zoe tay is so cute when she wears those thick olden day glasses plus the wig. hahax.
and too bad i won't be able to watch shows like this plus 'double happiness' and other tv programmes from next tues to sat. im deprived of tv next week. arghhh.

hey. was again too tired to blog yesterday. hmmm. well, yesterday was definitely fun and memorable. and one thing's for sure. kayaking rox. hehe.
yesterday was abt the same as monday.
went to macs first with jarrell and kevin. (jun jie couldn't come) bought chocolate waffle cone again. then we took the mrt to dhoby ghaut. at ljs, i was quite hungry so i decided to buy the fries. so crispy and delicious. mmm.
then, we took the free shuttle bus to the big splash. oh ya. the driver was a bit the blind and deaf (not the same driver as monday's) coz he accidentally closed the door before guru aka xiangjun could get in, leaving guru behind. then we shouted for him to stop, but to no avail. haizness. then later he scolded us coz we didn't answer when he asked us where we were going. ah, nvm.
then we reached the paddle culture centre. we were actualli supposed to use the pool, but we wanted to kayak in the sea. so, we went for an expedition from there to macs. hehe. fun but tiring.
then later, it rained but fortunately, we reached macs in time. we were told to wait somewhere near mccafe. oh ya, onli me, jarrell, kevin, royce, kexin and (forgot his name) were there. suddenly, an angmoh came and gave us a large coke he bought from macs coz his family were going off already. haven't been drunk yet. then we suggested tt it must have been drugged. but like anyone cared. then the three sec 2s, royce, kexin and (forgot his name) drank it. and then, royce suggested tt the man must hve put viagra in it. like wth. hahax. very porn man tt guy.
oh, then we kayak-ed back to the paddle culture place. on the way, nor taught us a new stroke, the stern rudder, which is a better stroke than the sweep one.
then as usual, we had to wash the kayaks. but this time was better coz most of them were plastic ones, so dun need to carry back. hehe.
magdeline was sooo nice. i wanted to carry the kayak since she asked for three volunteers. but then, she pulled me away and told me to let the others do it. she said she noticed tt i was very hardworking so she told me to take it easy and let the others do the work. sooo nice of her. tt realli made my day. =)
then we were back in the pool to learn the rescue drill. hehe. luckily i wasn't the victim, so i did not need to do the capsize drill. yayness. after tt, we were given our own time to kayak around in the pool. then, a few minutes later, we called it a day. a bit the sad.
after tt was debrief. nor and magdeline reviewed our performance in general and everyone passed our 1-star course. so happy. then magdeline told the group abt me and how hardworking i was tho i was onli a sec one. so honoured. =)
then had a crappy talk with law chang shui aka lcs (sec 4) on the way to amber rd bus stop. he was like "wow! strongest sec one huh? i feel so honoured standing beside you. so, strongest sec one, ..." crappiness. then, later at the bus stop, when i put on my earphones to listen to gaz's music, he stared at me and was like "wah! you can not onli be the strongest sec one but also the most poser sec one..." crappiness again.
then, when 135 came, i boarded the bus and boy was i surprised to see the rest of them, including lcs, guru, kevin and some sec 2s also boarding the bus. hehe.
then yip hei alighted at the same stop as me, near paya lebar mrt station coz he wanted to take mrt from there to sembawang. then, i took the mrt and went home.
hmmm. looking back, the course was very fun. (haven't i already mentioned this) thumbs up to nor and magdeline. now, im tinking of taking the 2-star course. hehe.

hey. there's abt an hour more till i get out of my house for the kayaking course. yayness. so excited. hehe.
arghhh. slept last nite at around 11.40pm while watching 'the wedding planner'. i love tt movie so much. watched it like 3 or 4 times on vcd which i borrowed from my cousin but i still wanna watch it again. however, i've returned it already. haiz. tot of watching the tv one but fell asleep just before the ending. arghhh.
aniwae, here's wishing all Buddhists a Happy Vesak Day!

hey. was too tired to blog yesterday.
well, kayaking is very fun. =)
kk. here's wat happened yesterday.
before we set off, jun jie, jarell, kevin and me decided to go to macs first. since i was not tt hungry, i onli bought a chocolate waffle cone. yummy. i was amazed tt jun jie could eat two sausage mcmuffin with egg despite his thin body. wow.
then, we waited for guru aka xiangjun and the rest at the mrt station for like half an hour. told us to be early, but they were late. haiz.
we took the train to dhoby ghaut to get to macdonald house to catch the shuttle bus to the big splash. then we went to ljs since some ppl wanted to buy food and drinks. well, some didn't, including me, and we just sat around while chatting.
after tt, we took the shuttle bus to the big splash.
we were the only ones in the bus, so it seemed as tho we had chartered it. hehe.
well, then we reached the kayaking place, paddle culture.
firstly, it was the theory lesson and the instructors, nor and magdeline, explained to us the parts of the paddle, kayak, the types of kayak, etc.
then, it was the practical lesson in the pool. each of us took one kayak and did as instructed.
the capsize drill was a bit the scary coz you must tap thrice on the kayak when you overturn. imagine doing tt underwater. but gee, i managed to tap thrice, but three quick ones. hehe. at least i did it. yay.
then we learned the the different types of paddling, eg front, back, etc. we also learned the sweeps and other strokes.
oh ya. the pool water is very salty, just like seawater. mebbe they channeled the seawater into the pool. who noes. hehe.
then, at around 3.30pm, they gave us a break till 4.45pm. so, we went to the east coast parkway macs to grab a bite. they had told us tt it was onli a 15 min walk, but it was actualli double. mebbe our speed was a bit slow. hehe.
the macs there is very the nice and high-tech. well, since tt was my very first visit there. bought a hamburger due to budget constraints. must be spendthrift mah. hehe.
on the way back, i lubbed some of jarell's french fries.
oh ya, on the way to and from macs, saw/met psl hakeem (sec 4) with his friend, whom i dunno, cycling.

then, it was time for us to use the two-men kayaks. this time, it was in the sea. we learned another stroke, which i forgot. (the name, not the stroke) kexin, my partner, is very the smart one. i was like not paying very close attention, so luckily he was. if not, we could have gotten scolded by the instructor, nor.
after tt, it was time to go back. we had to help to wash the kayaks. veyr hardwork since the kayaks are quite heavy.
before we could go back, we were again asked to move the helmet/headgear cage to the side. then, it was debrief and time to wash up.
after tt, with the help of streetsmart guru, we managed to find our way to the amber rd bus stop. thanx guru. =)
i took 135 with jun jie and jarell. initially, we had wanted to alight at the ang mo kio interchange and take the mrt from there, but later, we decided to alight at the bus stop near paya lebar mrt station. then, we took the mrt from paya lebar and went home from there.
well, tt was all i guess. my arm muscles are still a bit sore after paddling quite a lot yesterday. mebbe i also built more muscles from the paddling as well as the carrying of the things, including the kayaks and the helmet/headgear cage. hehe.
can't wait for tomorrow. but a bit the scared coz we were told tt there will be capsizing tomorrow since we're gonna do the rescue.
all in all, a very fun day. realised tt kayaking can be very tiring. oh ya. and the instructor, nor, is a bit strict, whereas mag is not tt strict. but both are friendly. =)

before we could go back, we were again asked to move the helmet/headgear cage to the side. then, it was debrief and time to wash up.
after tt, with the help of streetsmart guru, we managed to find our way to the amber rd bus stop. thanx guru. =)
i took 135 with jun jie and jarell. initially, we had wanted to alight at the ang mo kio interchange and take the mrt from there, but later, we decided to alight at the bus stop near paya lebar mrt station. then, we took the mrt from paya lebar and went home from there.
well, tt was all i guess. my arm muscles are still a bit sore after paddling quite a lot yesterday. mebbe i also built more muscles from the paddling as well as the carrying of the things, including the kayaks and the helmet/headgear cage. hehe.
can't wait for tomorrow. but a bit the scared coz we were told tt there will be capsizing tomorrow since we're gonna do the rescue.
all in all, a very fun day. realised tt kayaking can be very tiring. oh ya. and the instructor, nor, is a bit strict, whereas mag is not tt strict. but both are friendly. =)
