hello world,

hope you're listening, forgive me if i'm young, for speaking out of line. there's someone i've been missing, i think that they could be the better half of me...

yes, hello blogger world after around two weeks of hiatus. =D

anyway, i just wanted to say that last Saturday had been a most meaningful day since such a long time. and for that, i am really thankful. (:

interacting with young kiddos during the RE(a)D DOT STORIES cip event was really such an awesome time. for one, i felt so young and well, innocent again. yes, it's that childish innocence that make children so adorable, and interacting with them, just so heartwarming. although at times, they certainly can be quite annoying. haha xD

and right after that, i had a good time catching up with 01 batchmates during our 75th anniversary campfire at sarimbun! yes, good ol' sarimbun camp. -.-" and really, having not been scouting for more than a year (which actually feels like a really long time) , it was really nice to feel such camaderie and brotherhood! yeah, 01 batchmates rock! =D

and after that, i went for Law Jia Hao's eighteenth birthday bash/chalet. and there, i also caught up with my two dear friends, Shawn and Bryan! (:

yay, Saturday was so awesome! =D

(and wangye is damn awesome for being such a good sport though i pangsaed him just now to write in my buddy books when he had prepared his pe attire and frisbee and was all ready to burn his fats with me! sorry yo! xD)

i dreamed a dream

Susan Boyle on Britain's Got Talent

Piers Morgan: "Without doubt that was the biggest surprise I've had in three years of this show. When you stood there with that cheeky grin, wanting to be like Elaine Paige, everyone was laughing at you. No one is laughing now. That was stunning; an incredible performance. Amazing; I'm reeling from shock." "What a voice!"

Amanda Holden: "I am so thrilled because I know everybody was against you. I honestly think that we are all being very cynical and I think that’s the biggest wake up call ever. I just want to say that it is a complete privilege listening to that." "Incredible!"

Simon Cowell: "I knew the moment that you stepped in front of us that we were going to hear something remarkable, and I was right."

well, what more can i say! a simply inspiring and amazing performance. (:

fee-fi-fo-fum

now, that's what i call fi-erce

finally, Felicia "Fo" Porter proved to the world that despite her lack of height, she does indeed have the potential to win ANTM Cycle 12! (: way to go girl, with that fi-erce potrayal of the colour red, which of course, earned her photo of the week! xD thank god she got over the whole issue with her short hair fast. -.-"

still, my most favourite photo of her thus far is the one with Aminat where they posed as stockbrokers on Wall Street:

you just gotta love their expressions! =D

well, it's no wonder she's my fave this cycle, along with Miz Street Preacher London! =D

cool, calm blue

i simply love her all-positive, funky, outgoing attitude! (: oh, and who could forget how she volunteered to sleep on the floor when Sandra kicked up a big diva fuss over the bed, which was already chosen by Celia. she's just really awesome lah. (((:

speaking of which (haha!), coincidentally, these two equally mean girls were in the bottom two this week, with Sandra given the boot. as much as Sandra was THE girl to hate in the earlier part of this cycle (who could stand her "i am sandra (sun-dra) and i am from kenya and i am exotic and beautiful and i know i am the next top model", seriously!), Celia's backstabbing moment during judging in Episode 5 saw her snatch the title away and Sandra was retreated to the land of tolerability. ohwell, now she and overconfident Natalie are on my black list. (:

okay, enough with the mean girls. apart from Fo and London, there are three other awesome models who aren't exactly my faves, but still, whom i like very much.

Teyona

Tahlia

Aminat

clearly, Teyona is one the front-runners in this cycle. i mean, that girl can take smashing photos! xD though it remains to be seen if her acting/appearance in commercials and her runway walk will mar her already very impressive portfolio. and Tahlia (aka the burns superwoman) and Aminat are steadily improving. in fact, for this week, their photos were placed second, third and fourth respectively. (:

okay, i think that's ANTM stuff for now.

anyway, two upcoming movies that are on my MESTI WATCH list:

remake of that classic 1980 film! (:

jennifer garner! (((: of course must watch lah, right! xD

haha, alright, have an awesome Week 3 y'all! (:

are you cess?

(HAHA. tsktsk ah people who spew dirty jokes on poor unsuspecting victims. xD)

anyway, yes, from the time i last blogged, CT1's over (since a week ago), i've watched two movies - He's Just Not That Into You & Confessions of a Shopaholic - and i've even gotten back two papers. and school's back to normal. for better or for worse. SO, well, i guess nothing much has been happening lah.

one thing though - my oh my, MEGAN JOY IS OUT OF AI! ):
well, i know she deserves the boot lah, after two consecutive weeks of disappointing performances, but really, i totally couldn't help but to adore her after her awesome performances in prior to the Top 13! (remember Put Your Records On and Black Horse and the Cherry Tree, anyone?) and her Walkin' After Midnight performance during the Grand Ole Opry week totally reaffirmed my hopeless admiration for her! =D i think it's her unique Amy Winehouse kinda husky raspy voice? haha, this reminds me of AI2 when i was supporting Julia Demato. -.-" (anyone remember her?) anyway, bottomline, i totally adore Megan and she seriously could've used some help for her song choices.

but hey, Lady GaGa performed Pokerface, or an upbeat remix of it rather, smashingly awesomely fantastic. that woman has one hell of a talent and fashion sense. and i mean it in the most positive way. still, i prefer her piano version so much more.

okay, i think that's enough update for now.

YAY, TGIF TMR! (((:
